    What electrical homeowners actually search

When a homeowner needs an electrician, they search for something specific. "Electrician near me" is a different search than "panel upgrade cost," and both are different from "EV charger installation." Each one is a different homeowner with a different problem at a different budget. If you have one page listing eleven services, Google has to match all of those searches to that one page. It can't, so it doesn't. A competitor with one page per service wins every time, because Google matches the search to a page, and a page about everything is a page about nothing.

The searches that matter for electricians break down into a few patterns. "Electrician near me" is urgent, something tripped or sparked and they need someone today. "Panel upgrade cost" is research, the homeowner knows their panel is outdated and is comparing pricing before committing. "EV charger installation" is a fast-growing search driven by EV adoption, and the homeowners searching for it are motivated and ready to book. "Code compliance" and "generator install" are specific, high-ticket jobs where homeowners get multiple quotes. And then there are the town-plus-service searches like "panel upgrade Kansas City" or "EV charger installer Gettysburg," which are the ones that actually turn into booked jobs because the homeowner is searching for exactly what you do exactly where you do it.

Having a page for each one does two things. It gives Google something specific to rank, and it gives the homeowner a page that talks about their exact problem instead of a generic services list. The electrician who shows up for "panel upgrade Kansas City" with a page about panel upgrades in Kansas City, with real photos and a real description, beats the one who shows up with a generic homepage every time. Read why your site might not be showing up at all.

We build those pages. One per service, one per town, written around what homeowners in your area actually type. Not a template with the town name swapped in. Real pages about real work you've done in real places.

What breaks in an electrical business specifically

The phone rings while you're pulling wire through a crawlspace or up to your elbows in a service panel. You physically cannot answer it. You're on a ladder, you're wearing gloves, you're tracing a circuit. By the time you climb down and check your phone, the homeowner has already called the next electrician on Google. That's not a staffing problem. You can't answer a phone and troubleshoot a 200-amp panel at the same time.

Electrical work has a unique problem that other trades don't face as badly: quoting takes a site visit. A panel upgrade, a rewire, an EV charger install, a generator hookup. You can't price it over the phone. So you drive out, assess the job, send the quote, and move on to the next service call. Chasing that estimate is somebody's whole job and nobody has that job. The quote sits there. The homeowner got three quotes and is waiting to hear back. The first one to follow up usually wins. Unfollowed estimates cost you more here than in almost any other trade, because every quote required your time on site before you could even send it.

You don't even know how many you lost, because a missed call that goes to voicemail and never converts doesn't show up anywhere. It just doesn't exist.

Service Foxx fixes all three. Missed calls get a text back in 60 seconds. Estimates get followed up automatically at 24 hours, 72 hours, and 7 days. Site visit quotes stay alive through the permitting process. You find out after, not during. Whether you're in Adams County or Kansas City, the problem is the same and so is the fix.

We know what your days look like, because we're in one

We're Sami and Kylee. Kylee runs Appalachian Exteriors, a metal roofing and steel siding company in Adams County and Franklin County, Pennsylvania, with her husband Dwayne. They do residential and agricultural work, and Dwayne is on site for every job. Real family business, real roofs, real crews.

We didn't research these problems. We watched them cost real work. The phone rang while Dwayne was on a roof, and by the time anyone called back the homeowner had already talked to two other guys. Then we found the other half: homeowners searching for a metal roofer in his own county couldn't find him at all.

A homeowner searched Google, found them, and booked an appointment on the spot. Kylee was in the shower. Dwayne was on a job. Nobody answered a phone or lifted a finger. That job was worth about $62,000.

No ads. No Facebook page. No business cards. We built it for our own family first, it worked, so we packaged it up. Every contractor we work with gets the same system that booked that job.
